CT scans contain 3D information.

We make it tangible.

A CT scan is more than a collection of images. It’s a volumetric dataset made up of hundreds or thousands of cross-sectional slices, delivered in a standard format known as DICOM. When those slices are viewed together, they define the full three-dimensional shape of a physical object, such as a bone. This can then be prepared for 3D printing.

Step 1: CT Data (DICOM)

We begin with a DICOM dataset from a CT scan, which contains the full volumetric information needed to reconstruct anatomy.

Step 2: Segmentation

Relevant structures, such as bones, are isolated from surrounding tissue.

Step 3: Model Preparation

The resulting geometry is cleaned, refined, and prepared for manufacturing while preserving anatomical accuracy.

Step 4: 3D Printing

The final model is produced using high-resolution 3D printing, creating a precise physical representation of the original scan.
